This installment of our "JCRC Virtual Town Hall" will be a conversation with Delegate Schuyler VanValkenburg. Delegate VanValkenburg represents a large number of constituents in the Jewish Federation's catchment area.
With this forum taking place just before Yom Hashoah - Holocaust Memorial Day - the delegate will speak with us about the recently signed bill establishing a DOE advisory committee on Holocaust and anti-bias education.
We will also hear about how the Commonwealth has dealt with our new COVID-19 reality and what it will be like as the General Assembly re-convenes later in the week.
Participants will be able to submit questions to the host during a Q&A session.
The Jewish Community Relations Committee is the public relations and advocacy arm of the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond.
Founded in 1935, the JCFR represents the almost 15,000 Jewish constituents in the Greater Richmond and Central Virginia region.
