Jaffa Terror Victim was US Army vet, Vanderbilt Student

With great sadness, the JCFR learned of the three terrorist attacks that struck at Israelis and civilian tourists in Israel, yesterday. Over 13 individuals were harmed. Among the wounded were American students from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. Taylor Force, 29, a native of Texas, a US Army veteran and a West Point graduate was murdered; his wife was injured.

While the JCFR condemns every terrorist act, this barbaric attack struck painfully close to home. Nashville is a Partnership2Gether (P2) Southeast Consortium Member. The Jewish Federation of Nashville partners with Vanderbilt, with us and with Israel. Force, was a student member of the Owen Graduate School of Management, which had taken a trip to Israel. Their loss is profound and our thoughts, prayers and condolences are with the Force family and friends, Vanderbilt, and the Nashville community. May his memory be a blessing.
