The Richmond Jewish Foundation, in partnership with Bon Secours Richmond Health Care Foundation, will present the 19th Annual Hirschler Professional Advisors Seminar on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at the Weinstein JCC in Richmond. The program will feature nationally recognized estate planning authority Edward J. Beckwith, Partner at Baker Hostetler, who will deliver a timely presentation titled “Preserving Family Legacy: Practical Planning in Uncertain Political Times.”

For nearly two decades, the Hirschler Professional Advisors Seminar has served as a premier educational event, bringing together leading legal, financial, and philanthropic professionals to discuss emerging trends and best practices in charitable and estate planning. The annual program reflects the Richmond Jewish Foundation’s commitment to helping advisors better serve their clients while strengthening philanthropic impact throughout the community.
Designed for attorneys, financial advisors, accountants, charitable planning professionals, and other members of the professional advisory community, the seminar will explore practical strategies families and advisors can use to navigate an evolving political and legislative landscape while safeguarding long-term philanthropic and family objectives.

Edward J. Beckwith is widely recognized as a national leader in estate planning, charitable planning, and the education of private wealth professionals. Throughout his distinguished career, he has lectured extensively across the United States and has written and spoken on a broad range of estate and charitable planning topics for organizations including the American Law Institute and The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

The seminar will begin with breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by the educational program from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Participants will have the opportunity to earn 1.5 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit.
