We are pleased to announce that the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond is organizing an Inclusion Training Session for all Jewish Communal Professionals serving our community. The training will take place from 8-10 am October 30th, and will be led by an organization called Keshet.
Keshet is a national organization that works for full LGBTQ equality and inclusion in Jewish life. Led and supported by LGBTQ Jews and straight allies, Keshet cultivates the spirit and practice of inclusion in all parts of the Jewish community. This training is built for communal professionals and will include lessons on overall Jewish Values of Inclusion, going over LGBTQ Terms, mini lesson on pronouns w. practice, and how to make the community as a whole more inclusive.
