Join us for a special Yom HaShoah program featuring Jim Weinberg—one of Richmond’s most respected philanthropic and business leaders. Known for his insight, steady judgment, and decades of service, Jim has helped shape both the region’s Jewish community and its nonprofit landscape. From his leadership at the Richmond Jewish Foundation, where he advanced a national initiative to strengthen endowments, to his professional role as President of Hirschler Fleischer advising major business transitions, Jim’s impact is felt across Virginia.
Jim has also held key positions in the broader civic community, including past presidencies of the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond and the Central Virginia Food Bank, where he played a crucial role in its merger with Meals on Wheels.
In honor of Yom HaShoah, we will also be joined by Sam Asher, Executive Director of the Virginia Holocaust Museum, who will offer reflections on remembrance and the importance of preserving Holocaust history.
This is a meaningful opportunity to hear from two leaders whose work continues to strengthen and guide our community.
