JCFR - Jewish Family Services Community Wellness Check-in Sessions, #2

4:00PM - 5:00PM  

We all know life has been stressful and challenging this year. 

The Jewish Family Services professional counselors will be offering healthy coping tools and other wellness solutions to help us navigate these uncertain times. To encourage discussion, the session is limited to 12 people and the session will be kept private and confidential within the group.

Here are the professionals for each session:

Dr. Sydney Fleischer, Ph.D., LCSW

Sydney serves as the Director of Clinical Services at JFS and has a rich background in mental health counseling. Her practice model combines a dynamic understanding of the issues that brings the client in as well as short term problem solving strategies. Sydney received her MSW from the University of California- Berkeley, and doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University. Sydney also serves as co-chair of the VCU/MCV Psychiatry Department’s clinical faculty and has been in practice for over 30 years. She will be available for the November 18th and December 8th session.

 

Ellen Glass, LCSW

Ellen began her career in human resources prior to becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She authentically connects with her clients through fostering mutual respect and open dialogue. She works with couples and individuals of all ages focusing on life transitions, relationship issues, communication and emotional trauma. She received her MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University and has been practicing for over 30 years. She will be available for all three sessions.

 

Rabbi Scott Nagel

Rabbi Scott Nagel is The Sophia and Nathan Gumenick Senior Rabbi at Congregation Beth Ahabah. He will be available at the December 1st call ONLY.
