Join FCVA and the Richmond Jewish Community for our 4th annual ShabbaTTogether virtual event highlighting disability inclusion and mental health coinciding with JDAIM – Jewish Disabilities Awareness and Inclusion Month in February.
Our “One Thing I Wish You Knew” virtual event will take place on Saturday night, February 19th at 7:30pm.
This exciting virtual event will feature a musical Havdalah led by Cantor Sarah Beck-Berman and the unique stories of 3 leading local and international advocates for inclusion:
1. Daniel Staffenberg – CEO of the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond
2. Judy Heumann – International Disability Advocate, Author, White House Advisor
3. Jeff Katz – National News Radio Host
Listen as these speakers share their journeys, struggles, and personal experiences while offering words of hope and understanding. Because, inclusion begins with listening.
