In this class, we will be looking at very large archaeological objects that made their way into
Israel’s culture – classical Roman architecture. Much of this architecture came when King Herod brought Roman ideas back to Israel. We will be looking at temples, palaces, theaters,
hippodromes, aqueducts, and sports venues along with many of their decorative features. Please join us as we go back in the time to see what our ancestors built 2,000 years ago that are still in active use today.
Each class in this series is an independent topic, so, even if you have never joined us before, feel free to “drop in”!
