April 2026 Session: Ancient Jewelry – Beads and Bangles of our Ancestors

MONDAY, April 6, 2026, 7 to 8 PM on Zoom

In this class, Frankie will be discussing ancient jewelry worn by our ancestors – earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, clothing ornamentation – and the materials from which they were made – seashells, bone, gold, silver, glass, faience, and semi-precious stones. We will read Biblical texts noting the types of jewelry worn by both women and men. Join us for this fascinating and wide-ranging discussion of ancient jewelry unearthed in archaeological sites around Israel.
