Congregation Or Atid is excited to offer this course as we will explore Jewish
history, holidays and traditions, Israel and Zionism, prayer and mitzvot, Jewish
life cycles, our sacred texts, the concept of God, and Jewish theology. Open to all
adults seeking a deeper connection to Jewish learning and ritual.
This 11-session class will meet on the first Wednesday of each month beginning
August 5th, 2026 - June 2nd, 2027 from 6:00–8:30 PM. Feel free to bring your
dinner or a snack! Each participant will be invited to give a 10–15-minute
presentation on an assigned topic during the course.

The course will culminate in a joyful celebration on Shavuot, Saturday,
June 12 , 2027, during which each participant will have the opportunity
to lead a segment of the service or to chant from the Torah or Haftarah.
Tuition Cost: $180 for COA members, $360 for non-members.
