Have you ever wondered why Rosh Hashanah is in the seventh month of the year? Have you heard of Simchat Torah, but are unclear on what it actually is? In this class we will explore the fall holidays through the themes of endings, beginnings, gatherings, joy . . . and elephants.

Join bnai mitzvah tutor Edva Kashi for a five-part series where we'll explore time, holidays, culture, food, and the mysteries of ancient Israelite timekeeping.

Our second class will be held on Saturday, January 28 from 3-4 p.m. at the North Courthouse Road Library (325 Courthouse Road), Meeting Room A/B. Light snacks will be provided. Please bring your own reusable cup or bottle (the library has water fountains).

Tickets are $20 per class (price adjusted for fees). Only 15 spots available!

Please visit the Chesterfield County Library website for COVID restrictions/requirements. We are unable to provide childcare.
