Why is Purim in February? Why can't I ever figure out when Hanukkah starts? And what does barley have to do with anything? If you've ever looked at a Jewish calendar and thought, "Why?"—this class is for you.

Join bnai mitzvah tutor Edva Kashi for a five-part series where we'll explore time, holidays, culture, food, and the mysteries of ancient Israelite timekeeping.

Part 3: Winter Holidays: Let There be Light!
Part 4: Spring Holidays: Planting the Seeds
Part 5: Summer Holidays: Counting Down and Looking Up
