Or Atid's congregant, Ephraim Seidman, went to Israel soon after October 7th and spent almost 2.5 months volunteering at the Israel Guide Dog Center for the Blind in the south of Israel near Beit Oved. He quickly understood it was a different kind of trip when after his plane landed he realized he was one of less than half a dozen non-Israelis from his full flight.
