Since 1935, the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond has served as the central address of the organized Jewish community in Richmond. A voluntary association of social service agencies, organizations and synagogues, the Federation works to ensure the well-being, continuity and strength of Richmond’s vibrant Jewish community. click here to read more about us

The Jewish Community Federation of Richmond (JCFR) is the central address for the Richmond Jewish community.  The Federation’s annual UJA Jewish Welfare Fund Campaign provides necessary funding for the Jewish community in Richmond, in Israel and around the world.  We welcome you to Richmond and encourage you to get involved.

Shalom Richmond Newcomers Event
Join the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond for Shalom Richmond Newcomers on Tuesday, Sept. 11.  This annual event will give those who are new to the area or looking for a way to reconnect more opportunities to see what Jewish Richmond is all about. The event will be held at the Weinstein JCC at 7 p.m. Join other newcomers for dessert and learn about all the Richmond Jewish organizations, area synagogues and the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond.
